JEE MAIN DRESS CODE 2021: The National Testing Agecy has issued a detailed set of guidelines for both male and female candidates. The jee main 2021 exam will be held in online mode . According to the official notification of NTA , the candidates are required to obey the dress code in order to avoid any kind of hassle during the examination day.
NTA has not declared any official notification regarding the dress to be worn by the candidates appearing for this exam. However, NTA has specified what items are prohibited in the exam hall.
Candidates must not wear any cloth consisting of metallic items. Metallic items can cause problems during frisking and must be avoided in any scenario.
Candidates are not allowed to wear cap/ muffler or any cloth over their head. Your head should be clear and not be covered with any kind of muffler or cap.
Yes , you can wear full sleeves clothes since it is cold weather but try wearing lightweight clothes do avoid long duration frisking. Simply wear simple clothes.
Wearing any kind of jewellery or ornaments is strictly prohibited. No candidate is permitted to wear any kind of jewellery and ornaments.
Candidates must not wear goggles, rings, bracelets or any of such items
** What is the dress code of girls in the JEE MAIN entrance exam 2021?**
Girl Candidates must not wear any kind of dupatta or scarf. They are not permitted to wear any kind of stole or scarf to avoid any hassle on examination day.
Girl candidates are not permitted to wear any kind of jewellery. They should take care not to take any precious and costly items to the examination hall.
Watch is not allowed in the JEE MAINS 2021. There will be enough watches in the examination hall. So avoid wearing watches to the examination hall.
Candidates must wear light and comfortable clothes keeping in mind the season and weather on the day of exam. They clothes are thoroughly checked and proper frisking is done before entry to examination hall.
JEE Main Exam Day Guidelines
Students are advised to visit the exam venue one day prior to the exam date to know the route and travel time so as to avoid unavoidable conditions on exam day.
Students must reach the exam venue at least one hour in advance to avoid last minute hassle
Students must carry their JEE Main admit card 2021 along with one passport size coloured photograph and a valid photo ID proof
Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to appear in the exam without admit card, photograph and photo ID proof
5 )Students must not carry any prohibited item like mobile phone,study materials, electronic items or any such item to the exam venue.
No baggage: All JEE Main candidates are restricted from taking any kind of bags or baggage in the exam hall. The exam halls will also hold no responsibility for items or materials lost or stolen on the exam centre premises.
No drinking, smoking or eating: Candidates are also prohibited from drinking, smoking or eating in the examination hall. Snacks and drinks like tea and coffee are also prohibited in the exam halls.
No Accessories: Candidates are also not be allowed to wear any kind of jewellery or accessories, like watches, in the examination hall. The clothes you wear should have less pockets in order to restrain the suspicion as pocket are excellent place for cheating hideouts.
No electronic gadgets: Electronic gadgets like mobile phone, calculators, earphones, headphones, pagers, docupen, slide rules, log tables, tape recorder or camera, etc are strictly not allowed inside an examination hall.
No stationery: Candidates who will be attempting the Paper-1 of JEE Mains 2021 will not be allowed to bring in any kind of stationery, like pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, paper or any textual reference papers in the examination hall. Candidates will be provided with the needed stationery in from the exam centres themselves .
** JEE MAIN 2021 guidelines for diabetic candidates?**
Diabetic patients are not allowed to bring in sugar tablets or fruits as well as a water bottle. However, they will not be allowed to bring packaged food like candy, chocolate or sandwiches in the exam hall.
